Room & Hall Hire

St Andrew's has a variety of rooms which can be hired for private functions and community activities. We are ideally placed at Goldsworth Park Centre, with a large free car park and served by buses every 12 minutes during the day.

Our rooms range from a large hall to the main Worship Area (used for our main services, weddings and baptisms). The facilities have been used for a variety of meetings and events, including:

  • Parties and receptions

  • Choral and instrumental music concerts

  • Weekly rehearsals by a classical choir (100 voices)

  • Parent and toddler groups

  • Pilates classes

  • Training seminars

  • Community and business meetings

  • Drama rehearsals

(Please note our facilities are not available for hire on Sunday mornings)

Our facilities are within two adjacent buildings (linked by a porch):
In the main church building
The Worship Area

This beautiful semicircular space has seating for 220 people (more can be added) and is ideal for conferences, music and drama. It occupies the entire upper floor of our main building and is reached by stairs at either side and a large lift. Our high-spec audio-visual facilities are available on request.

The Coffee Lounge

Andy's Community Cafe is here from Monday to Thursday, 10am-3pm, but in the evenings and on Saturdays this versatile area offers great layout flexibility. It can be hired with or without the creche (separated by shutter doors) and with or without use of the kitchen. Chairs, tables and a projector screen are readily available.

The Chapel

The Chapel is open as a place of prayer for all from 9am-3pm Monday to Friday. It may be possible to book this space for evening meetings when there are no other church services. It is ideal for gatherings or meetings of up to 24 people.

Our main building has male and female toilets and a large accessible toilet designed for wheelchair maneuverability.

Baby changing facilities (with a low toilet) are available within the creche area.

In the A2 Youth & Community Centre

The purpose built A2 Youth and Community Centre offers self-contained facilities and is ideal for groups which need a hall with access to a small kitchen. Chairs and tables and projector screen are readily available.

The kitchen is well-equipped with a cooker, a fridge, crockery and a servery to the main hall. The A2 has its own toilet facilities (male, female and disabled with baby-changing facilities).
